On May 1st, 2018, our grant partner Foundation Communities officially opened Cardinal Point – the first affordable housing community in Northwest Austin. We are proud to be part of this incredible project which provides 120 families the opportunity to live in a high opportunity neighborhood full of jobs and great schools.
A grant from St. David’s Foundation funded playscapes, outdoor trails and other healthy living projects at the property, as well as a portion of the new St. David’s Foundation Learning Center, which will provide educational opportunities for children, and a place for physical activity classes to take place.
Cardinal Point is located in the Four Points Area, near the intersection of 2222 and 620 and offers affordable 1, 2 and 3 bedroom, environmentally-friendly units.
