St. David’s Foundation’s Senior Program Officer Kim McPherson served as moderator for the SXSW 2018 panel “Childhood Trauma’s Footprint on Health”, which was part of the Health Track at this year’s conference.
Kim led a discussion with internationally-renowned documentary filmmaker James Redford and Dr. Pritesh Gandhi of People’s Community Clinic. The group discussed the groundbreaking research on childhood trauma and its dramatic health implications for people later in life, which ties in with one of the Foundation’s new goals under our strategic priorities. Kim was an incredible moderator, and kept the packed room engaged throughout the panel and Q&A session.
