Cara leads, develops, implements, and oversees human resources strategies and initiatives for the Foundation, including learning and organizational development, recruitment and staffing, benefits administration, workplace and employee wellness, compliance and risk management, compensation, talent and performance management, employee relations, talent recognition, and organizational culture.
Prior to joining the Foundation in 2013, Cara worked in various human resources positions for the law firm of Haynes and Boone LLP for more than 13 years.
Cara has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Drake University, and a Professional Human Resources Certification.
