Eric Patton is the Director of Grants Management at St. David’s Foundation. Eric is responsible for developing, managing, and overseeing the grants management function, including the Foundation’s grantmaking practices, processes, team, and system. Prior to joining the Foundation in 2023, Eric served as a consultant for the Law and Grants Management departments at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Eric previously worked in the Grants Management departments at Smile Train and the Open Society Foundations where he was involved in multiple system redesigns and rollouts. Eric has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Oberlin College and a Master of Arts in German and European Studies from Georgetown University. In his free time, he enjoys running, learning languages, and spending time with his family.
