Tasha Banks is a Program Officer at St. David’s Foundation. In this role, Tasha helps envision and manages bodies of work to ensure effective, collaborative, and community-driven implementation of the Foundation’s strategic plan. Prior to joining the Foundation in 2024, Tasha was the Assistant Director for the Division of Community Engagement and Health Equity for the Department of Population Health at the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School where she led strategic and operational community-driven projects for the division. Tasha has also served in leadership roles at Southwest Key Programs and the Amala Foundation. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master of Science in Global Health and Medical Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. Tasha is also a registered yoga instructor. Outside of work, you can find Tasha out enjoying time in nature, hanging out with her sweet dog Ripley, enjoying good food and the perfect margarita, and spending time with loved ones that is full of lots of laughter.
