Yanet Tejeda is the Community Dental Health Coordinator at St. David’s Foundation. Committed to breaking down barriers to healthy oral health behavior and care coordination; Yanet manages the Complex Care Program and facilitates dental referrals for families and patients served to partner clinics. Prior to joining the Foundation in 2021, Yanet provided care to Central Park Pediatric Dentistry patients and worked as a dentist in Venezuela for two years, serving rural communities without access to healthcare. She has a doctorate in dentistry from the Jose Asef Yara Faculty of Medical Sciences in Ciego de Avila, Cuba, and received additional professional training at UT Health San Antonio, Texas. Outside of work, Yanet loves watching television, especially her favorite show—Grey’s Anatomy, and taking family trips.
