Centering Equity in Our Work

At St. David’s Foundation, we believe that data can serve as an important instrument for assessing the effectiveness of our work, determining who we serve through our investments and programs as well as who we are. As we seek to foster a culture of learning both within the Foundation and throughout the community we serve, it is important to us to make the meaningful data we collect and analyze accessible to all.

Guided by this belief, we are announcing the launch of our Diversity Dashboard, which is intended to reinforce our commitment to health equity and provide transparency into key diversity metrics over time.

The Foundation’s newly adopted strategic plan focuses our investments and actions on the communities with the greatest health needs in our geography. As such, the metrics highlighted within this dashboard represent 2023 data on who received funding through our Grantmaking efforts, who received care through our Mobile Dental Program, and who were the recipients of our  St. David’s Neal Kocurek Scholarship Program as a baseline for our 2024-2030 strategic plan and beyond. With this launch as an important starting point, we will work to close the gaps in our data (undisclosed values) as we revisit and update this information annually.  

Looking inward, demographic information about our leadership and staff helps us understand who we are in terms of various demographic groups and ensure we foster a work environment in which everyone has an equal opportunity to flourish and reach their full potential.
