Coming Soon: Applications Open on July 31
Housing + Health: Funding for Planning and Predevelopment
Funding to support nonprofit organizations, local government, or collaboratives working to improve affordable housing for low- to moderate-income households in Central Texas.
This funding initiative will provide planning and/or predevelopment support for projects with the potential to help address our region’s affordable housing challenge. Projects and plans from all parts of Central Texas—rural, urban, and regional—are encouraged to consider this opportunity. Collaboratives will be prioritized as part of this call.
Funding up to $8M with a maximum grant amount of $750,000 per project.
Investing in Impact: Community Directed Giving through Intermediaries
Funding opportunity focused on identifying and working with nonprofit partners to serve in an intermediary role to foster connections between the Foundation and communities with the greatest health needs in Central Texas.
Through this open call, we seek to invest in community-rooted intermediaries with the potential to re-grant St. David’s Foundation funding to serve under-resourced entities, emerging nonprofits, grassroots organizations, neighborhood associations, informal community networks, community-based initiatives, and community constituents toward the Foundation’s mission of advancing health equity.
Funding up to $4M for eligible nonprofits operating in Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis, or Williamson counties. Award size will be based on scale of proposed project, potential for impact through community-directed giving, and the organization’s annual budget.
